STUDIO SPARKS started as aΒ lockdown project of handmade cushions made from vintage, preloved or unwanted fabrics. Each is fabulously frilled and combines traditional silhouettes with statement colours and prints for the modern home.

Doing our bit for mindful manufacturing, each cushion:
- is crafted from fabric that is deadstock or remnants from sellers who no longer need them
- has been cut from fabric in the most considered way to avoid waste
- contains duck feathers collected as a bi-product of the meat industry and are certified with no live-plucking status
-is sent to you in eco-conscious, recyclable and biodegradable packaging
βI've always been drawn to colour and printed textiles but it wasn't until I worked at interiors brand House of Hackney fresh out of uni when minimalism became firmly out of the question for me. I fell for their brilliant combinations of traditional style with brazen colours and patterns. It just takes my breath away and this look has continued to seduce and inspire me since. I wanted to experiment on my own, put my sewing skills to practise and keep busy during lockdown. I hope your new cushion brings the joy it's been to make into your own home.'
